LUXURY SUITE FOR COUPLES

Weather Watch, our "special occasion" suite just for couples, is our newest unit. It was completed just before opening the season in 2008, and comprises the lowest level of the main house - enjoying that premier view and convenient location - but has no access to or from the main house. Measuring over 1000 square feet, including its' own private deck, it features a state-of-the-art glass block shower with a window into its' own private garden space, a hand carved "sling shot" style king size bed from Old Hickory, a hand crafted armoire and a Swedish rosewood bar.

The bedroom area is quite commodious, and offers, in addition to the beautiful hand carved king size bed, a gas fireplace for warmth and ambience, an armoire hand crafted from cedar felled on our own property, with 32" TV, stereo, and a dvd player.

In the living area you'll find a kitchenette, wrought iron table and chairs for two, a Swedish rosewood bar, desk with wi-fi, and an oriental privacy screen. Cooking facilities include a gas grill, a microwave, and an electric frying pan (no stove). Also included are a toaster, coffee pot and a blender.

The luxury bathroom features - in addition to the glass block shower with a window to its own private garden - state-of-the-art, multi head shower, sit-down dressing table, and a vanity with the fanciest sink you've ever seen.

Weather Watch's view from it's' deck is what sets it apart from any other lodging unit on the Island. We would have called it the "Honeymoon" suite, but didn't want to exclude any of you out there who would like to experience this lovely, decadent, luxury once in your lives.
