Normandy Cottage The Normandy Cottage is original to the property, built around 1913 as the garage, complete with lodging for the chauffeur. It served as staff housing until 1997, when it was totally rebuilt. Now heated and insulated and decorated with cheerful Northwoods charm, it provides comfortable accommodations. A large deck with many flowering plants was added during the restoration in 1997, and beautiful, hand carved, Adirondack rails in 2003. The deck provides guests with a lovely setting to enjoy a cup of coffee or a cocktail in the outdoors. Normandy Cottage has one bedroom with a king-sized bed, a living room with a double size sofa sleeper and gas fireplace, one bath, and large eat-in kitchen.
